Elon Musk Agrees With Vitalik Buterin on Dogecoin and Ethereum Collaboration – Bitcoin News

Elon Musk has recently supported the idea that Dogecoin and Ethereum should collaborate to make the cryptocurrency space more efficient, and this declaration has prompted hundreds of thousands of Dogecoin supporters to celebrate the news on Twitter. This was soon followed by a tweet from Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin who tweeted that he was ready to talk about the collaboration.

Dogecoin and Ethereum are both cryptocurrencies, and they both have similar ideas. They want to help their respective communities become more successful. They have different philosophies, but they have tremendous potential.

Apparently, a huge amount of Bitcoin and Ethereum developers are unhappy with the way the two blockchain projects have been handling their code. Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum’s founder, has gotten responses from almost all the top developers in the Bitcoin community and has convinced them that the future of Ethereum is in Dogecoin and Ethereum.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he was close to agreeing with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin on a collaboration between Dogecoin and Ethereum. Buterin said: If we can build a safe Doge-to-Ethereum bridge. That would be great.

Vitalik Buterin talks about a bridge between Dogecoin and Ethereum, Elon Musk agrees

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin discussed the possible collaboration between Ethereum and Dogecoin in an interview with artificial intelligence researcher Lex Friedman last week. Noting that the CEO of Tesla and Spacex has repeatedly tweeted about Dogecoin, Friedman said: There is a force behind someone like Elon Musk pushing the development of crypto-currencies. Then he asked Buterin: Is there any way to use this power and momentum to improve Ethereum? Buterin said: If DOGE somehow wants to connect to Ethereum, and people can exchange DOGE thousands of times per second within the loop ring, that would be great. I certainly don’t think Ethereum is an anti-dog coin, the co-founder stressed. I want fans to feel that Ethereum is at least a bit of a dog coin in spirit. He clarified: I think if we can create a secure Doge-to-Ethereum bridge. That would be great, and if Ethereum gets scalability working for Ethereum assets, you’ll be able to trade wrapped DOGEs with very low transaction costs and at very high speeds. Commenting on Musk’s support for Dogecoin, Buterin said it would be a mistake to attribute overly sophisticated malice or deep-seated intent to the whole process. He’s just a man, and he loves dogs as much as I do. Musk later commented on the interview, tweeting: I totally agree with Vitalik. Ethereum is currently transitioning from the Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus model to the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) model. Buterin recently explained why the update is taking longer than expected. One of the biggest problems I’ve encountered in our project is not technical, but human….. Ethereum is in a better economic position today, but it took us five years to get where we are today. We had many internal conflicts within the team during those five years. When you put together a team, it’s important to know who you’re working with, the Ethereum co-founder said. Last month, Musk suggested some improvements for Dogecoin and claimed to have met with DOGE developers. Musk wrote: Ideally, Doge accelerates the blocking time by a factor of 10, increases the block size by a factor of 10, and reduces the cost by a factor of 100. So he wins by a wide margin.
